About The Conference
This one-day BSA-sponsored postgraduate conference aims to provide the opportunity for postgraduate students to showcase their research and engage in scholarly debate that considers the methodological impact of the affective turn in the social sciences
By combining presentations of current research from postgraduate students with contributions from established academics the conference will serve as a space to consider the role emotion plays in contemporary social science research. It will also offer the opportunity to reflect on the direction emotionally-charged social science research could and should take in the future
